But Tiger Woods insisted those are faked pictures and thinking to take legal action against the Irish newspaper when the Ryder Cup is going in full speed.

Tiger over reacted to the pictures. By reacting the way he did, he gave the tabloid, exactly what they wanted, free publicity. He should have ignored the pictures completely.

I wonder why people always assume that the wives of sports stars are always out for the money. I sure there is an extremely greater chance that is the case in comparison to everybody else in society, but that doesn't mean it's impossible for some of them to marry for some other reason.

The media follows the public interest ...

Celebrities accept being celebrities, and for the most part, they themselves play a role in the interest or ignorance the media shows -- which is what the public craves. If the public would behave and learn to not watch such garbage, the media would have to stop.

But the innocents in the cross-fire are those associated with the celebrity, who previous were, and should still be, "off-limits." Here in the US, it's really the media of the late '60s that started to cross the line. And because the public ate it up, the morality was not only gone, but Americans started thinking nothing less of it.

Although Don Henley might have deserved some of his media flak for his under-age affair, his song Dirty Laundry is just on-point for most people. "Get the widow on the set ..."

People should stay out of the bedroom of others unless they open it. But it seems too many Americans are so caught up in what other people are doing, and gossiping to the extreme (even right-wingers) that it's impossible. It's sad, but people like to judge than stop and understand.

In fact, I see a lot of it on this board, which suggests where the core problem is.
