Not sure if this has been discussed before so if it has then sorry my bad. Anyway with the amount of teenage pregnancies in developed countries like the UK, US, Australia, and so on does anyone think that porn (doesn't have to be hardcore porn) should be used in sex education?
I live in the UK and in my opinion the sex education here is really ****. They never go into any detail and of course many families are embarrassed to talk about sex. The Netherlands is more open about sex than any other country/ region in the world, they teach sex education in great detail and because of that teen pregnancy is very low. On a TV programme that aired here in the UK last year about teenage pregnancy, the presenter took three boys and three girls between the ages of 13 and 18 to the netherlands to see what the sex education is like there.
After seeing what thier sex education is like (they go into alot of detail) half thought the UK should use the same thing and the other half think we shouldn't.
I see porn as sex education in a way like some educational TV shows also shows sex in explicit detail except the only differences are no clear view of penetration, great swearing and dirty words in porn while sex education talks about STDs and contraception.
I think that porn should be shown (don't have to be hardcore) in sex education and if not then sex education here and in other countries should be like the Netherlands. Either that or come up with a 100% effective and 100% safe contraceptive.
