Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
This is the basis for a good debate on another board I'm on. What do you think? Personally, I'd be in favor of awarding a point for pole. While recent seasons have seen some pretty amazing clashes between various drivers on race day, I think it's still the case that qualifying tends to be a great race within the race... and I wouldn't mind seeing that drama be enhanced by the awarding of a point for winning the pole.
