Would it be completely impractical to ship my car from either the port of LA or San Diego to the UK if I was moving back home for good? How long would it take? How much would it cost? I love my car and don't want to sell it. I also don't want to be without means of transport when I get back to England.
Also, could I drive around with CA license plates in the UK, or would I need to preregister the car with the DVLA and get some UK license plates before it arrived? Are there still MOTs in England?
