Hanging around a bunch of people that are out of touch with reality when one is in the industry doesn't help. Hearing from a small number of fans that are out of touch with reality doesn't help either. I think if a lot of women actually took the time to find out what most normal men out there like they would act differently. The porn industry across it's whole spectrum is very short sighted and often just plain ignorant of what's in their best interest and the best interest of everybody. They will go for what makes them the quick buck, or often even worse, only what they falsely feel will make them the quick easy buck when even that isn't true. It's amazing at how often they don't look at any long term success or well being of themselves.

I think a lot of the problem is that the adult industry has a very stupid but also very loud vocal minority of fans that are pandered to much of the time. Some of the time that's all people in the industry hear from and some of the time those people pay disproportionately more for adult material so they are catered to. I think that's the biggest issue here. I don't think generally speaking we, as a society, need to define beauty. Doing so only limits how we think, and no two people are going to agree one what beauty is. Until we get to a point where we just realize that beauty is something we all perceive differently, we'll continue dealing with this idiocy.
