Senator McCain: Of course Palin can beat Obama

This guy is a fucking mystery to me. He seems kinda smart, then he chooses Palin as a running mate. Then he releases an autobiography called "Maverick," and later says he has never been a maverick.

Now, after doing a very successful job of distancing himself from Palin (for good reason), he gives this interview.
:wtf:

Go back to whatever country you were born in Grandpa

he's had far too much time in the Senate (lost all credibility like the 99 others)

Re elect no one.....term limits now!

He's a hack politician. That's the truth of it. If Palin had finished up her term in office, ran for Senator while learning the nuts and bolts of policymaking, she would be a better candidate then McCain. Palin gets a lot of unfair criticism, the truth is that his campaign was in the toilet before he selected a VP and that his highest point in the polls was just after she was selected.

But she didn't do any of those things, so most of the criticism is well deserved.

Facetious

Moderated

What about our illegal meddling in Libyan affairs under potus obama, didn't he have to consult with Congress first before entering the fray? NO, as an alternative, (you gotta love this since you're everything alternative) obama sought approval from a gaggle of appointed internationalist elites in the UN and the Arab League in order to get American forces involved in Libya.

What's our mission in Libya anyway, I thought that we (America) were only going in there for about a week to enforce a no fly zone and to assist humanitarian causes?! Meanwhile...How many Tomahawk missiles have we launched into civilian populated regions of Libya in the hopes that ''we'' would kill Khadaffi, some 124+?

I thought that the use of drones as a means of killing our enemies should be forbidden? obama sure doesn't seem to mind.

Who exactly are the rebels in Libya and whose interests do they represent?

How many days have our forces quietly been employed in Libya now?
... again, with no mission and no end in sight! :dunno:

What about the recent reinstatement of the patriot act? under OH-bama!:eek::eek:
''bush shredded the constituition!'' :1orglaugh

I could go on and and on, it's just bullshit partisan politics at the end of the day, it's OK for obama to do anything he pleases and the socialist Americans in name only will always give him a pass...

I don't get too excited about it these days.

I USED to really like and respect McCain....but that seems like years ago....wait it was. After the hack job Bush did on him back in 2000 (regarding McCain's DISTINGUISHED military service....while Bush pulled a dodge), and then he (McCain) could publicly kiss and make up and even literally embrace Bush, I lost all respect I ever had for him, and it has only continued to erode ever since. He is nothing but a hack crony anymore, who will do anything and say anything to stay in office & keep getting elected. It's sad really.

When I saw this "story" being promoted elsewhere in cyberspace.....I KNEW exactly what he would say....because, if nothing else, McCain is a loyal puppet anymore. He SAYS he "thinks" Palin would/will beat Obama? "SHOCKING"!!!

Wasilla Sarah has ZERO chance of being elected president and she knows it. This is just a continuation of her "take the money and run" 15 minutes of fame being milked to the max.

By the way, Texas governor Rick Perry made a quiet and rather subdued admission that he's thinking about running for president yesterday. Keep your eye on this guy....he's someone to take seriously and would present a serious challenge to Obama were he to get the nomination. Thing is, I see the republicans as being way too fragmented with fringe elements to actually unite behind a guy like Perry but, if they did, it would be a helluva race. Personally, I can't stand the motherfucker but he's a talented, smart and very savvy politician.

Yeah, there's a quiet, but pretty capable guy from Indiana doing the same thing.

The Republicans aren't dead in the water yet.
