We're all here on PC's, tablets and phones. After just being on the receiving end of a quite persistent scam call, I'd like to propose either a proper thread (this could always do) or a sub forum for people around the world to let everyone know about the latest scam's coming at them. Warning everyone in the same county that it's currently coming in.
Anyone here with BT?
Received a call from 07889981335 claiming to BT technical support. I faked an "emergency" and they said they'd call back, I called BT support and verified it was not them and I have now setup with BT a call blocker.
Scammer called back, and after being told I knew they were not BT support tried claiming they were BT billing.
Was very insistent that they were BT, read from a script, even when told I knew what I was doing with a PC.
