Nah; Russian men are dying at a huge rate.
Every minute in Russia 3 people are born but 8 die. Most of those who die are men. The Russians need to keep their population alive and they only recently realised it and tried to improve their peoples health with various measures.
I hear they are born with cirrhosis of the liver. 
I as well love Russia, but I do find the sunbed thing a bit odd. I mean, just let them all bang each other, that burns a lot of calories.

The Russians do a lot of things a bit odd. I know - I lived there.
Life in Russian jail is even worse than life in Russia... And Russian men aren't really that prone to accepting homosexuality/other races.
Yeah I had a Russian girl tell me this once as well as a few other things about Russian men. It seems black women aren't the only ones who think their men are no good.

Russian men are pretty terrible - they can afford to be because in Russia it's backwards due to supply and demand; a hot guy (a rare commodity since Russian women are generally hot and Russian men generally are not) walks down the street and all the girls heads turn.
Russian men quite commonly beat their women too. An Irish friend of mine was honourable enough to intervene to stop one guy doing it. The guy and his friends kicked the shit out of him so badly he ended up with brain damage.
