This story is pretty incredible. Read the text and listen to the audio and tell me that Rummy wasn't:
a) putting on a bit of a show that the U.S. govt. under Bush II is above lying to the media and American citizens and producing propaganda of its own
b) clearly envious of the shameful degree to which the Iraqi militias can manipulate the media, lie, and propagandize in the most blatant fashion.
That said, I think nearly every premise he has in this meeting is half-baked. Rummy was like straight out of Dr. Strangelove, I swear (as is many of the current White House cast)....
