Risks of NSA on Craigslist

Ok so Im a noob here so bare with me if I sound completely ignorant about nething I say here. I wana try out that NSA experience on craigslist, but I just wana get a realistic picture from people who have actually tried it of how serious the risks are. I know statistically and factually that STDs are really common, but from your personal experiences did you contract nething and was STDs a common encounter when meeting random girls? How do you make sure whoever your meeting up with is safe? Do girls lie about this stuff if you ask them? Are condoms enuff to prevent STDs? Any words of wisdom is appreciated
