a buddy of mine were talking about pornstars, how they are just as good looking as mainstream actress now and economic incentive to do porn. the porn industry has quite the rep when it comes to drugs and exploitation of its talent. anyone know who the richest porn stars ? how many actress have made so much money they are set for life? we could only come up with jenna jameson and tera patrick as 2 that are probably set for life as long as they dont spend like mc hammer.

IMO there is no way you'll get rich in the porn industry unless and until you have full control of your image and a large fanbase.

I guess people who have actually gone into the business & own a production company or a website would be some of the richest. To name a few, someone like Seymour Butts, Peter North, Jenna Jameson and Silvia Saint.

Think we can say for sure, the Jane Does of the Porn Industry (just like in any other) are never going to get rich. The most they can hope for without having ambition, work ethic, business acumen or cross-over appeal (or a combination of these) is a somewhat comfortable standard of living.
