The Accepted Definition Of Spamming...

Is this spamming the same as having some members having hundreds or several hundreds of posts within a couple months of joining
Hey!... I'm really glad that you asked that question, Get'n'Laid! I just so happen to have a little guideline of the defintion of spamming that I use on
MY Boards:

...What do we consider as spam?
1. Useless posts/threads that are in the line of "I agree" or "This works!" or "I like Bread". Typical one liners or short phrases with no substantial reasoning or elaboration provided with your reply would be considered spam of a ***** degree.
2. Reviving old threads only to bring up your opinion, and that has been suggested by someone else previously in the same thread. We know our members have personal views to express, but please do not dig up/reply to threads which have been inactive for a month. I consider this to be spamming of a ***** degree as well.
3. Creating a new thread when an active discussion of the same or similar topic is already going on in another thread in the same forum. Please try to look at the forum and check if a topic you wish to discuss is already receiving attention. Needlessly creating new threads as such would be considered spam. This also includes asking a question when the same question has already been posed by someone and a reply was given. Remember to do the check before asking. THIS IS A BIG NO-NO IN MY EYES. If you look above on any Forum, you WILL see the SEARCH function. USE IT!
4. Double-posting; posting consecutively (one post of yours is immediately followed by another of yours) is discouraged. Use the edit function/button to edit your previous post instead of posting a 2nd time to say "Oops! I left out this...". Some members have the practice of replying to two seperate posts with seperate posts to each. This is discouraged due to the nature of our hosting packs and the need for posting. Use 1 post to reply to all the other posts that you are quoting/replying to. AGAIN... A BIG NO-NO IN MY EYES.
5. When 4 or more consecutive threads/posts are questions, I consider this as SPAM. Be patient and your questions will eventually be answered.
I hope this helps to define SPAMMING in everyone's eyes. And, like most of us here, we are ALL guilty of spamming at one time or another... BUT... the definition of SPAMMING as related to THIS thread concerns a bunch of individuals that popped up on this Board around the holidays last year and elected to post some nonsensical, puerile bullshit on damn near every thread.
Now... as for these current little power struggles and ******* contests? How 'bout we all just let things die down and cool off. Let's all take a BIG step backwards, draw in a deep breath, and post about PORN and beautiful women.
Who honestly cares about these trivial little power plays? Do they really matter in the end? We have way too much in-fighting going on right now. And I include myself in this judgment... I've popped off a couple of times myself. Anyone who claims they haven't - that they're merely stating an opinion - is just... well, you know who you are and how foolish you look.
So... now that I've added my dollar's worth of opinion... can we all just get back to the PORN, for Christ's sake???
Let's go have fun... damn, y'all.
