In Europe as a whole, the Muslim share of the population is expected to grow by nearly one-third over the next 20 years... rising to 8% in 2030. In absolute numbers, Europe's Muslim population is projected to grow from 44.1 million in 2010 to 58.2 million in 2030.

The Pew Forum is now working on similar comprehensive population studies for other religious groups. But statistics don't shed any light on the confessed actions of Breivik. According to wire service reports:

That, Islam is the only religion that can be used for hatred? Yes, that can be put to bed. That Islam is the worst? Looking at it in an objective way, no, it's till very comfortably in the lead by a long ways in the modern world in that respect.

(That's not to say the majority of the people that believe in other major religions are that great most of the time.)

The information i have read is that he posted on Scandinavian nazi and extreme right wing forums. You probably won´t find too many christians on these type of forums. The extreme right in Scandinavia is a bit different than the one in for example the US in the way that most of these people have no religious beliefs at all.

Have you seen his YouTube video? He sees himself as some sort of Chsristian Knight and signed off a letter as Andrew Berwick, Justiciar Knight Commander. The Knights Templar are as Christian as you can get, he also had links with our EDL

Following Christianity or any religion for that matter is like following a football club, 99% of the supporters/followers will watch their team peacefully and enjoy the game whilst a small minority will think there team is better than all others and then go on to mock the other teams or even fight supporters of other clubs, when people want to hate they will and will do it via religion, skin colour, sports club, ganb association, home district, favourite singer etc etc etc.

That violence always starts a ripple effect,
"You killed/raped my brother/mother/son/daughter,"
is something that has been going on for a long time.

Wrong. Both World Wars did not have religion as their root cause. Wars are mainly about the acquisition of land/resources. Religion has been used as a tool to galvanise a nation & occasionally is the direct cause of conflict but it is not the main reason for war.

What I have read from the maniac so far, many of his words have a rather eerie mirror to some posters here, whether it is of religion or of his/their hatred/fear of Islam.

I have already been called a 'faggot' for pointing that out:1orglaugh. But the evidence is clearly here.

There seems to be a bit of hypersensitivity here at FO since one of 'their own' has snapped and moved beyond just posting about their Islamophobia, xenophobia ,bigotry and general anti multiculturalism.

So I have learned to just let them vent all of this built up anger, fear and fustration online in hopes they won't act upon it like this guy did.


Muslim terror is more of a Cultural/Political manifestation than a religios one. They use the power of religion to rally people around a cause. There are many muslim countries which are secular(like Senegal which I have visited) and others in Eurasia as well.
