The Supreme Court of Canada threw out all of Canada's anti-prostitution laws on Friday. However, they wimped out and gave the government one year to write new ones if they choose to do so. Oddly enough, it was never illegal in Canada to sell sex for money, but everything around it, solicitation, brothels, living off the proceeds, etc. was illegal. Here's hoping the government has enough sense to stay out of this once and for all.
