Oct. has had a wonderful variety, and selection of serial killer specials on. I'm watching the end of one now, about Edmund Kemper, "The coed killer" They have the the Green River killer coming tomorrow, and Aileen Wuornos, is coming soon. Ted Bundy was just on .I've read about pretty much all of them, so I like to see the cops they talked about, now interviewed, and recordings with the killers themselves.

If you're into that kind of stuff, check out reelz, discovery, and oxygen, They all have this stuff running.

There used to be in the past ,America most wanted episodes presented by John Walsh, not sure if you ever watched them

Yes I did, on occasion, and a couple of serial killers were profiled on the show, including the Green River killer, and the host's son was abducted by Otis Toole, a side kick of serial killer, whose name I forget at the moment. But I was talking more along the lines of full 1 or 2 hour documentaries dedicated to one particular killer. The host of America's Most Wanted, John Walsh, has another show. I don't remember the name, but his shows have done a lot of good, to help catch criminals.

Watched Memories of a Murderer: The Nilsen Tapes on Netflix yesterday. Really well made although rather copying the Ted Bundy one they did. Should have been a series, really, as there was a lot more ground they could have covered with Nilsen.

He was the guy from England? Kind of a British Jeffrey Dahmer? I think I read a book about him, although I don't remember many details. We have Netflix, I still have to watch the previous episodes, including Bundy.
Another one from England I never finished reading about was Peter Sutcliff, The Yorkshire Ripper. The book I had was so long winded, I put it down, and never went back.

Yeah he was.

There's a series about Sutcliff on Netflix as well, also pretty good.

I see the new season of Tiger King is out. Doesn't that count?
Yeah, I guess. Never watched it, but heard there was something shady about it. If it floats your boat, I guess. I try not to be a thread Nazi.

I watched over the last couple of days, the Netflix Ted Bundy docu-series, and also the Richard "Night Stalker" Rimereze series. The movie about Bundy, and the first season of "Mind Hunter", which has shaped up to be a really good series. The first few episodes dealt with Edmund "The Coed Killer" Kemper, and they did a fucking amazing job of finding a guy that looked like he could be his brother.

So I started the Dennis Nilson doc., but for some reason it kept stopping and buffering, so I have to start over, I only got a third of the way in, before it started pissing me off. I watched the one about Peter "Yorkshire Ripper" Suttcliff, it was okay. Watched the two 4-parters, on Bundy, and Ramirez. Bundy, was just recycled, and reorganized, no new info in that one. The Night Stalker series had a couple of things I didn't recall from the book. I still have Berkowitz to watch, and I have to dig around and see who else they have. As I mentioned elsewhere, the Netflix original series "Mind Hunter" is a great show. I can't wait for season 3. Seems like they're working their way to Dennis "BTK" Rader, and I doubt they will, but at some point I would really like to see something about Randy Kraft.

EDIT: The one thing I really like about the show, is the people they got to play Kemper, and Manson, and Berkowitz, were AMAZING examples of resemblance. They could have been the brothers of the real killers.

There isn't going to be one, David Fincher's moved on to other projects and Netflix cancelled the contracts of all the cast and crew.

Well that sucks.

I just read on IMDB, that the show hasn't "officially" been cancelled, but as Steve said, contracts have been severed, and if it does reappear, it won't be anytime soon. Which sucks only slightly less.

I'm watching the Son Of Sam series on Netflix, and it is weird, with a capital W ! They are doing a heck of a job tying this all into cults, and the Manson murders, and Satanic worship.

The wife and I did away with cable, so we're doing the streaming thing. She has Amazon Prime, and I found one about Ted Bundy I haven't seen yet. I watch the first 3 episodes yesterday. It's different though, they're taking it from his former long time girlfriend Liz Kendall, and her daughter Molly's point of view. It's pretty good.
