Rap sucks

maybe so. But what I'm wondering is, is it just me, because it seems like this is the only genre to consistently be written off by it's detractors.

You never seem to hear rappers saying that they **** rock music and that it all is terrible, or rockers saying that they **** folk, or jazz musicians saying that they **** rock. All you hear is rockers saying that they **** rap.

I understand why you don't like rap, but I don't get why people can't seem to fathom that there must be some kind of quality to it if millions of other people like it.

I don't know, that's just my thoughts. I thought it was a weird phenomenon.
