Question about online porn

Hi all first post,

I have a question. as a first time buyer of internet porn and a college student, im 19, I was wondering what happens when you join a porn site such as videobox (the site i want to join). do you get a phone call by the credit card company confirming if you just joined a porn site? does it show up on ur credit card invoice "videobox (porn site)?" i need as much privacy as i can because i go to a good college (UCLA) and I need privacy as well as not letting my parents or my bitchy girl friend know I subscribe to porn. Thanks and please dont flame me

im pretty sure the credit card statement will be discreet. if it wasnt, i would imagine that half the business would go away. they dont want that.

so you just started going to this college? your girlfriend from highschool I take it? If that's the case...lose her, your in college...enjoy it for everything it has to offer, and I do mean everything!!! Just make sure with the porn thing that you keep your history and temporary internet files cleaned at all times, so if bitchy girlfriend or who ever, can't go through your comp and find stuff you don't want them to find!

thanks, yeah I will probably move on with her, but my greatest concern is will videobox or whatever porn site i join notify me over the phone or bill me letters that might give away my secret of subscribing to a porn site?!! :o

no it should be descrete like iamforever said. They won't call you either. Will be a recuring bill though if you don't cancel. The bill won't say video box, will be some bogus name for descression. The site will only take the money from your card company. You should be covered all the way around on this deal. I've never had problems with anything giving away what I was paying for.

Not to worry about it showing up as 'VideoBox -Porn Site'. I don't think that has ever happened to me. Usually it's something very discreet like CCBill.com or something that wouldn't immediately make you think PORN. Most sites tell you what will appear on your bill when you join.
