Question about AC's power consumption

Let's say if I am in a room where everything is closed and I leave my AC on for 1 hour.

Now let's say if I am in a room with windows and door open and I leave my AC on for 1 hour.

Will AC #1 consume less power?


I know the answer, but my friends believes otherwise and I hope the intelligent crowed of freeones can finally settle this.
