You know... as much as it pains me to say it as an American citizen, sometimes Im SO glad Im not living in the US. Im so fed up with some of the stupidness with these laws, political decisions, censorship, and restrictions that it makes me sick. And the mentality of the American people who support this nonsense are just as sickening. Some of the things this country has done as of recent literally make me ashamed to call myself an American.
The US is one the greatest country in the world... "the greatest" IMO. But it's also fucked up on so many levels. Our political decisions are tarnishing what the USA is, or what it was originally meant to be. And as a US citizen it pains me to see it happening.
Anyways, Im not wanting to go off on a tangent here. This was originally meant to be a reply to the "assault guns ban" thread, but my comment dealt more with US politics in general as opposed to just the *** laws. So I thought I should place it in its own thread.
