When i decided to have my own mobile app, 6 months ago, me and my team made a market research about adult apps and something surprising came out from a
survey we did among 1000 mobile smart phone owners:
although more than 90% of them watch porn on their devices, a mere 12% have ever installed an adult app on their phone and
over 90% of that 12% have uninstalled it within a week.
The reason for this was more obvious and it resides in the size of a mobile device mainly: being so small it is too accessible to the external world. You leave it
on your desk at work, on your kitchen table at home, you lose it, sometimes you hand it to someone else, your **** borrow it to play angry birds, your wife/husband/companion
checks it out behind you to see if you cheat and stuff like that.
Another problem of those adult apps is also that they are merely a bridge to a mobile version of the maker's site, so they are not much fun really.
