You know, as much as I'm opposed to it, it's not going to go away, so they might as well tax it and make money off of it and stop fucking the rest of us over. Same goes for pot. :2 cents:
IMO, the only people making a big deal to make it legal are people who can only get sex by using prostitutes. Just my opinion.

You can cut a lawn for 20 bucks, why can you stroke a dick?
I think it should be legal. Vegas has the right idea.

What your saying is actually pretty true, but not just about prostitution. If a person is trying to get something changed, it's usually because it would benefit them in some way. It's the whole out of sight out of mind thing. If you don't do drugs or have close friends that do, then You Might not ever ponder the pros and cons of legalizing marijuana. If you don't like driving fast, then You Might not go around trying to convince the higher ups to raise the speed limit.
(BTW I said usually. Personally, I like to ponder all sorts of topics whether they would affect me or not.)
Why can't it simply be a principled position about the right of the individual to decide for themselves what's in their best interests as long as their actions directly injure others?
I still don't see the precedent justification for this act being the business of the government.
I know the primary reason why it's illegal (which is more about southern culture dictating public policy) but I can't see why there isn't more principled opposition to the ban.
