The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
I'm interested. Apparently the alien won't make an appearance but as long as they explain the origin of the space jockey I'm happy.

Don't fuck with space jockey's. Created us and created the xenomorph. And man probably comes along all arrogant and bluster and well you know......

For the EMPEROR!!
Yeah, I'm interested as well. I've always loved the Alien and Predator genre.

Ridley Scott is directing it, so it should be good.

Yeah, me too. I read a couple of those Alien novels ages ago, which mentioned those aliens, so it'll be interesting to see which way they're going to go with the story.

When i saw the title i thought it was going to be some sort of prequel to Frankenstein. I guess i was wrong.

My Penis Is Dancing!
Were it not Ridley Scott directing this, it would have a potential for disaster. In Scott's hands...I am excited.

I was kind of hoping this thread would have been about the titan that gave fire to humanity.

Yea but that is because we are obviously attempting to steal some space jockey tech. They'll obviously at some stage unleash their pet bio weapon and then the whole thing backfires and becomes a fucked up mess and no one survives that way when ripley and co land they don't know what went down.

I know he going to ignore the crossovers and shit but I hope he at least alludes to the fact we gain our FTL from reverse engineered Yautja tech (predators)

Oh yea and these guys created us and the xenomorph. Don't think they created the predators but its highly likely they had a dust up at some point. But I ain't sure how he going to put the malevolent spin on them.

The atmosphere in the trailer feels so close to the original that I wonder if they brought Giger back to some design consulting. He's 70 years old now, but he was still sculpting as of a couple years ago. That would really put the movie over the top.

Why the hell did you show me this now, when I've got 6 months to wait for it?

I'm definitely interesting. I think the mood/atmosphere of the film looks very much like alien, and that was a movie that made you sit on the edge of your seat without even realising you were doing so.

Sweet.

I like this, I will probably go see it. This isn't an Aliens prequel is it?

Looks bad ass, loved the homage to the original Alien trailer too.
