President Obama Appears On The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Video)

Compared to our previous President, President Obama sure is much more witty and intellegent than George W. Bush

Not that difficult when you consider that there are plankton that are much more witty and intellegent than George W. Bush.

Having said that, Obama does actually appear to have a brain that he makes good use of.

I think that both President Obama and Jon Stewart came out of that interview looking very good. Stewart asked questions a lot of us would like to, and didn't let them drop without a pretty good answer.

:thumbsup::thumbsup: to both of them.

I think the interview went pretty good. Jon stuck to his questions even when Obama did try to dodge a few and most were answered fairly well. We will see what difference it makes next week

Obama kicks all republican ass. He made McCain look dumber than usual during the presidential debates in '08. I doubt if there are any republicans that would be willing to take him on in a debate. He's already gone into their hive and schooled them all. Shrubby Bush never had the nads to engage democrats like that. Whoever the teabag republican party puts up in '12 is going to to have their ass handed to them.

At least Bush the socialist could speak without the habitual use of a teleprompter unlike Obama the empty suited Manchurian candidate, the drone that he is. :1orglaugh

Uh, Bush "could"??:confused::1orglaugh:1orglaugh

The teleprompter was INVENTED for GINC (gaffer in Chief) Bush. His supporters are right about him going down in history as a success...they're just wrong about the reasons.:1orglaugh

But that was a good one Face!:bowdown:

With or without a teleprompter with training wheels to help Bush ride smoothly along, Bush still stuttered, was not articulate and youtube has videos that prove this. :rofl:

Stewart is awesome. I loved the "I was talking to a woman in the audience before the show" dig. I have no idea why the politicians still use that tired line. Any time I hear it I immediately tune out anything that follows.

Excellent observation and, in retrospect, I guess that's sort of the impression I got as well. Especially the "Yes we can....but" comment. Obama looked tired and worn out to me. The interview also displayed Stewart's very dogged and un-FoxNews or un-MSNBC-like determination to truly be "fair and balanced" when it comes to asking the tough questions and refusing to back down....whether they be directed at the left or the right. Great video.

Are you kidding? Bush could hardly speak at all. He was one of the worst orators who ever held office.

On a totally different subject.....I hear he has a book coming out. I will definitely be reading it (but won't be buying it that's for sure!).
