God is upset over a drag show in a rural NC county? Why not ******** the urban areas which have more of these events?

The drag show thread seems a bit strange. Why knock out the power to the whole county (two-thirds Republican) over one small event? And that even includes an allowance for the fact that logic may not be their strong suit. Why not go to Raleigh or Charlotte?

The only two things that make sense to me are: this was a test run (see what happens in a small area) or just someone being a prick.
