By Points I guess you mean rep power? And you only get those when people really like what you said and send you positive rep.. The more people that rep your posts the more points you get

Rep points don't go into effect until you have at minimum 100 posts.

I got my 100 posts in and it says that i got 500 point but i cant use them. When i go to buy a gallery i cant. It says that i don't have enough points. It says that i only got 54 but shouldn't i have like 554? Please help

Rep points are different from MyFreeones points.

You need to sync your two accounts together to get the points. Follow this tutorial video and then wait 2-8 hours and your points will show up:
