I'm not interested in porn with condoms, but there should be testing in some cases. Because 9/10 times the problem lies with an outside entity, as the porn industry is most probably safer than it's given credit for and like with other things, there will be groups to say everything is bad.
I like it just the way it is now: without the rubbers!
But on the down side, the young generation is tricked into thinking that THIS is the way to do it in real life (no protection). So putting rubbers on would be kind of like a message to the youngsters.

As far as I know, the big studios are very serious about getting their performers tested frequently.

The answer is YES, condoms should be required in all Porn productions because of safety and also to re-enforce the realities that having sex without protection leads to STDs and unwanted pregnancies.
The American porn consumer is only interested in American porn. So there won't be an exodus of porn filmed in Cali or America.
The only real way for this issue to be enforced is for the Porn talent to form a Union.

If we get a President Perry or a President Bachmann, I have no doubt that there will be some changes at the federal level: like a ban on hardcore pornography and a vigorous enforcement and prosecution effort. I know Bachmann signed the anti-porn pledge. I believe Perry has too, but I'm not 100% certain on him. If he hasn't, I'm sure that he soon will. Besides, Texas already has some pretty strict laws on porn - so he's essentially there already.
And for anyone who says that porn is (nationally) legal, it is not. And the Cambria List means nothing at all. That's just a guide written by an industry porn attorney. No one in *************** is bound by anything on the Cambria List. So my guess is, with an Evangelical as POTUS, we will go from having rather narrow (local) community standards tests to a broad (much like the Meese Commission) federal standards test.
I expect the bible thumpers and the N.O.W. gang to (once again) join hands... ya know, "to protect women's rights and dignities, decrease *****, ***** *****, global warming and solar flares" - porn is to blame for all of those things, I hear. They ****** this law in FL and its stupid. These people get tested so much it is safer to fuck one of them then a person in a bar. Of course they get some fugly bitch to say shes been in some low budjet film where they didnt test their performers.

Requiring porn actors to wear condoms would open up a whole can of worms. Where does it stop? Will single people be required to wear condoms in their personal life? Porn stars actually have less of a chance of getting an std than the people that randomly get ***** and fuck people they meet at bars. Porn stars are regularly tested. The general population is not.

I'm conflicted on this one but lean toward let's use the fucking rubbers! True porn is not educational, but it's a huge industry and affects social climate non the less. There is a huge problem with performers not wanted to get tested as often as they need to because it's inconvenient-- but so are most other job safety precautions. Honestly, why wouldn't we want to protect one of the most important tools we use for work-- sexual health. Using condoms isn't a deal breaker when I watch scenes, I see responsibility and awareness put to good use. I'll protect my pussy at all costs from cocks unknown.
A lot of the XXX content I make is with my fiancee & we certainly don't use condoms when we shoot. I don't know how I would feel if the condom laws we're applied... It's a tough call to make... There are irresponsible people & companies out there, and the truth is performers DO get STD's from shooting without condoms. It's not 100% safe, talent gets changed at the last minute, tests only check for the basics, & money rules.
