Pornstars after retirement?

Just out of interest but what exactly do Pornstars do after they retire? Its rare that they can work into their 40s. I hear that Ashlyn Gere has a conventional acting career. Anyone recommend any titles? Also I read somewhere that Lexus Locklear was also trying to move into non-porn roles.
