I wish people would look on the board concerning stories and links about Pornhub before creating threads like this ...
Hello community,
I have got a question for the people who have a collection of their favorite PornHub-videos saved as Google Chrome Bookmarks .
When I open like 100 videos from one of the bookmark folders at once, Pornhub crashes and shows me a "pornhub is undergoing maintenance error" on every page"
Apparently Pornhub protects itself from too many link accesses at once?
Do you have this problem too?
Is it better with other browsers?
If you don't know. All of this is that you are discussing is the result of the Girls-Do-Porn Incident. Mindgeek, along with the owners of Girls-Do-Porn face legal charges in several lawsuits in several states brought by attorneys of underage girls and their families. These underage girls were subject to abuse, sexual assault and rape by several people. Among them one of the owners and another male actor employed by Girls-Do-Porn. California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Florida and even Hawaii have lawsuits pending. The federal government has also gotten involved too by closing down the Girls-Do-Porn website and they have also charged the Girls-Do-Porn owners with human trafficking and some U.S. Attorneys are thinking of adding charges of violating the Mann Act. That is bringing underage girls across state lines (making it a felony to engage in interstate or foreign commerce transport) for the purposes of prostitution or debauchery or any other immoral purpose.
How does Mindgeek fit into all of this? Mindgeek was named as a defendant because they housed these videos at Pornhub where everyone could see them free at the tube site without having a membership. How did these videos get onto Pornhub? Hundreds of unverified Pornhub members uploaded Girls-Do-Porn videos to the Pornhub servers.
How does it affect you and anyone else bookmarking content? Mindgeek took down hundreds of thousands of unrelated videos. Pretty much everything uploaded by unverified members. There could be close to a million videos. Even innocent Pornhub members who had picture galleries up were also impacted. If you went unverified, then all your pictures were erased and those were taken down too. For example, if you are a member or an ex-member of any of the paysites (Brazzers, Digital Playground, Mofos, Reality Kings, Naughty America, Bang Bros., Bang!, Wicked Pictures, PlayboyPlus, etc.) and you put up some pictures of your favorite pornstars. All of those pictures were taken down. The premise is that you as a member of those sites are users of the content. You don't own the content. Therefore no pictures are allowed over there at Pornhub anymore.
So unless you are a verified member ... content owner, adult model, or pornstar ... then you are allowed to put up videos provided, of course, that you own the content.
*** unverified Pornhub members over there outnumber verified Pornhub members like something close to three hundred twenty-five to one. ***
And your precious bookmarks? They
won't work. It has nothing to do with a browser issue or opening up too many bookmarks at one time. Everything to do with videos taken down by Mindgeek because of your choice of videos, in your bookmarked content, that was unfortunately uploaded by unverified members.
At Pornhub and at Pornhub Premium ... it is a vast wasteland now.
As for you? Throw those folders and bookmarks away!
