I have the simply question what porn actresses do after their career?
Of course there are different groups of actresses.

- some do only porn to finance their studies. If they have finished it they can do a normal job.
- some are in the industry for only a few years. Often they do it do earn money, because they have a poor parents' home. But what when they are finished. Do they end up in prostitution?
- the great pornstars earn sometimes more than 200.000 $ a year. Is this for them enough money for the rest of their life or what are they doing?

What do you think former pornstars do after their career? Or what do the former pornstars like Daisy Marie, Gauge, Tawny Roberts and Cheyenne Silver now? Perhaps somebody has heard anything.

Actually most I'd say well over 90% of female porn stars are in the business for less then 2 years, more like 18 months. As you said some do porn to help pay for college, and a good number go on the strip club circuit and also do 'escort/prostitute' work, often at the same time ie; when they hit a particular city to work at a strip club they will also have set up escort appointments.

As for whether or not you can live on $200,000 for the rest of your life, it really depends on how frugally you are prepared to live.

There does seem to be a bit of a paradox with former pornstars in that many of them do simply vanish completely, while others pop up on the news having been 'found out' by their present employer who invariably is shocked SHOCKED!! I say and disgusted to find out this person they trusted and hired had sex with other people on camera for money. Never mind the fact that no one ever asks the owner just how they came to find this out.

I mean some do it in despair because they don't see another chance to earn money and after 2 years they see that this isn't the world they have imagined.

But when their main profession was porn what do they write in the curiculum vitae when they want to have a "seroius" job? Some bosses are not amused about a past in porn. Of course there are many other jobs where you can have such a past.
