Porn Stars I need your advice starting new Porn Company

I am working with a friend of mine for filming many music videos, and documentaries. Together we have really good gear like two 4K cameras, cine lenses, audio gear, and soon a small white room. I started to think the porn industry is the biggest film industry in the world. I talked to him about starting a small porn site and he is down for it. I wanted to make it like Twistys mostly softcore stripping with really beautiful college girls, or if the budget is right get some famous pornstars or up and coming pornstars to be the girls.

My main questions are how successful is starting a new porn company? How much does talent cost like hiring pornstars? Does softcore make money or is hardcore the big money maker? If you got good talent like famous pornstars about how much can you make a scene average in profit? Is there any fees like unions you have to join, or any fees at all to start a porn company other than business licenses, ect.

The days of porn sites making good money are gone. There's no real profit in it unless your operating expenses are minimal and your sales are high. That's pretty much impossible to do these days.
