Police: Knife reportedly found on ex-O.J. Simpson estate

The murder took place in twenty-two years ago.

Fast police work.

Conspiracy...
Police learned within the last month that an ex-Los Angeles traffic officer received the item from a construction worker who found it "back in the 90s," possibly when the estate was being demolished, Los Angeles police Capt. Andy Neiman said.

It is being examined for forensics -- including DNA and hairs -- at a lab, he said.

The now-retired officer who had the knife "held onto it until just recently," and authorities "discovered he had it" within the last month, Neiman said.

The construction worker told the officer he had found the knife on the former Simpson property, according to Neiman.

Neiman said he is not sure whether the officer had already left the force at the time.

He was then working off duty on a "movie" job, according to Neiman. The officer retired in the late 1990s, he said.

Sure they just learned about this.

I hope this leads to the real killer.

Tongue implanted firmly in cheek.

Interesting news but superfluous as it applies to O.J now. He could freely admit that he sliced Nicole and Ron up like he so obviously did and there's nothing that can be done. Instead, the stupid fuck is in a Nevada prison for armed robbery. Instant karma's gonna get you.

There are ways around this. OJ could stand trial again. I hope he does.

If the earlier trial is a fraud, double jeopardy will not prohibit a new trial because the party acquitted has prevented themselves from being placed into "jeopardy" to begin with.

There are some who say Cuba Gooding Jr. should go on trial for his shoddy portrayal of The Juice.

Will, you really don't pay attention to anything, do you? The DA, the LAPD and anyone with a show on any of the news channels have stated that double jeopardy applies, even with the discovery of new evidence. The Juice had his day in court and won.

As to the knife, it was a folding type not really suitable for nearly decapitating a 35 year old woman. The knife that was used was probably a large Bowie or machete. But we'll never know unless OJ has a sudden regret or deathbed confession.

They shoulda got that guy who played Black Dynamite.

If it is the knife, which I doubt it is, the only thing that could happen is to influence the Nevada parole board to deny parole.

I'm thinking someone planted the knife as a prank. Probably A.C. Cowlings.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I do not remember. Was he tried for BOTH Ron and Nicole at the same time? Was he even charged with MURDER for Ron Goldman, or was that a lesser set of charges, and Nicole was the murder charge.

Charged and tried for 2 counts of 1st degree murder with special circumstances. A capital offense in California.

Considering this is some discovery that now through multiple levels of hearsay I don't think I would get too excited about this. I don't know how much evidence can even be obtained from something that was buried for years and subjected to the elements even if true.

Most importantly and unfortunately it's all just academic at this point, as there is nothing that can be done now since he has already been tried. Hopefully, considering of the hype in the situation law enforcement doesn't do something stupid and spend millions of dollars investigating this for little purpose when resources could better be spent on other crimes.

this just in:

the knife has been confirmed the murder weapon and it's being reported to have the engraved initials "K.K." on it with corresponding fingerprints.

holy shit.

not really.

I'm no apologist, asshat. I was upset the day of the verdict but living with rage about something which in the big picture has literally nothing to do with my life has no purpose, other than raising my blood pressure.

See, it raises his blood pressure. What if he knew it was a plan of the global zion knights?

I doubt is was a prank, most likely landscaper or construction crew dropped it. But that cop not bothering to turn it in. Idiot!
