The guy went to dive for his legs caught a glimpse (and probably a smell) and took a few steps backwards, then the guy goes for his ankles.
Heck in all honesty, if I was in a high speed chase from the cops, I'd probably shit my pants too. If the guy is resisting arrest, do they have to show video footage in the courtroom?
