PlayStation 5 vs Xbox Series X

I'm sure you have all heard about the console wars but I don't really give a crap about it. Just want to know which console you would pick at launch? I will try to get one at launch but I know there will be limited production and it will be super hard to get one. I remember getting my first ever PS4 less than a year after launch and it was defective so I'm debating if I should even get one. I have always been a Sony guy so I am definitely getting the PS5. I do own a Xbox One but I will not be getting the Series X. Just wish they went all disc-less for next-gen. I'm ready for an all digital gaming console.

I'm curious about the PS5 controller, I'd like to see it in action. I have zero interest in XBox, but I am finally curious about the Switch. Too bad there's none to have.

I had really bad time back in the day with the Xbox 360, the first one that I brought did not turn on at all. so i got reimbursed.
The second one that I brought had the three red button what mean dead, I go back to the market they gives me an other one this one finally worked but not a long time. Approx one year then guess what the three red button where back again!, I turned back to microsoft they repair it, and almost one year later same problem!
Xbox = crap!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most XB exclusives available on PC? So if you already have a gaming PC, and could only choose one console, it would make sense to go PS5

According to me a have bought a PC and i recommend pc is not that good as Xbox xseries i we talk about design it is my bestest choice

I think X-Box, being Microsoft, who is a PC company mainly, and is firstly recognized as such, has that stigma where it's always going to be compared to PCs. PC gamers who have souped up machines to run modern games may look at the X-Box and dismiss it because they already have a powerful machine already. I mean, that's fine. You're allowed to scoff at whatever. Play what you want. If X-Box's new machine is hella powerful compared to what a "good" gaming PC is, that's a big deal. At least, until the PC market catches up. And it will. Fast.

Bare bones, if we strip it all away, technically, all consoles are computers at their heart. I wonder, are X-Box games typically pretty available on PC? Are there a lot more exclusives that aren't? I imagine they have a ton of exclusives, otherwise, PC gamers would hard pass on X-Box outside of any reasons other than being cool.

PS5. Although I understand some prefer the Xbox controller. However, I've played PS ever since I was a kid and had no issues.

Spoke to a buddy working in a gaming store, and he told me that sony is waiting for the upcoming XBox announcement before deciding on a price. Sounds like they are playing chicken as to who is going to set the price standard. I thought I read sony was going to be very reasonable for pricing (most consoles are sold at a loss anyways)

Watched Xbox conference yesterday, to be honest they will be good games on it.
Fable, Halo Infinite, Hellblade II, The Medium, State of Decay III (never played the 2 first, but looks cool) also Forza Motorsport looks more impressive than Gran Turismo 7 but it wasn't gameplay so maybe it would be a bit downgraded. Also they didn't show more of Scorn in the conference I'm really curious about that game.

I will purchase first the PS5 that's is 100% sure, now I got to admet I'm also interested in some Xbox games.
I hope Xbox Series X will be better than 360, I want a console that run and don't die a few months after buying it
