Perfection v Imperfection

Several posts from members today have got me to thinking.

Have you ever been attracted to someone, say, who's nose might have been a little larger than average? Ever been struck by a model, actress or pornstar who's facial features would be considered just shy of "classic beauty"? Does your ideal lady or guy have to be perfectly slim?

There's that old addage, "the flaws add character." How true do you, personally consider that statement to be? Are you most infatuated with perfect, model beauty. Or does imperfection often strike you as perfect in and of its self? Site examples or share your thoughts if you like.

I am actually usually more attracted to imperfect girls myself. It makes them more unique and they stand out in the crowds of bleach blonde chicks that spend all of their time trying to look pretty.

I used to date a girl who had her left nipple bigger than her right. I also dated a girl who had a huge nose that when she gave me head she had to do it while I lay down and from her side so she doesn't hit me with her nose lol!

I definitely find flawed beauty attractive. The first person that came to mind was Ashlee Simpson, I realize alot of people may or may not have liked her original nose or just plain didn't care, but I thought it was distinctive and added to her sex appeal. Although old news I feel now she kinda just looks like your average California bleached blonde.

Flaws are important. They help you appreciate the things you love about your girl/man. Maybe she has a big nose, but every time you look at her nose, you'll notice her big brown eyes and beautiful smile.

I know a girl, I think anybody would agree that she's hotter than average, but her legs are a little skinny, she has a little bit of a belly, but as far as I'm concerned she's the sexiest girl to ever walk the earth. Don't know exactly what it is about her, but she drives me nuts.

Sophia Loren said that she always thought of herself as ugly when she was younger, because she had larger than average lips and her eyes were set wide. I'll always think of her as one of the most beautiful women on the planet.

IMO, a lot of what passes for "perfect" these days is fake and very, very average.

Dude you always want something a bit unique. That's why I think I am wild about Riley Mason, Liz Vicious and similar models. Remind me of past lovers. I would rather take one of them than some of the fake as plastic women out there.

^ Agreed,some of the hottest chicks I've had relationships with were shallow, empty, and self absorbed, but having said that, there are plenty of absolutely gorgeous women out there who are not like that at all.

I find "plain jane" or women with imperfection to be beautiful and more real than barbie dolls that are perfect. Of course there are exceptions and limits to this. As noted by delasoul perfect beauties tend to be stuck up and a pain in the ass.

honestly, I've dated girls who had good hearts...maybe weren't the best looking...maybe worked a bit too much...maybe were a bit obsessive...maybe were a bit too free-spirited...maybe were too serious...maybe were a little too different from who I am... and you know what? IT ALWAYS FUCKING BLEW UP IN MY FACE!

It really all depends on what the flaw is... I'm not sure I can agree with a blanket statement like the one posed here.
