PED's in the NBA

How has the NBA escaped any PED controversy??
Over the last 20 years we have learned if a pro athlete is more muscular, developed, physically imposing than anyone else in their given sport they are more than likely using PED's.
Now we have had the steroid era in MLB and it's widely accepted that a great deal of NFL players use testosterone as a recovery agent.
Where has the outrage been for the obvious PED use in the NBA??
Just watch a playoff series from 1990 and compare the builds of the players then to the players of today it just jumps out at you 'holy shit' these guys are huge!!!
Players like Dwight Howard and Lebron James are almost certainly doping yet there never any speculation or news concerning this??
My 2 cents I personally don't care I love bigger stonger athletes doing the impossible just curious on thoughts about how the NBA keeps this out of the news?

Physical size wouldn't necessarily be a telltale - look at Lance Armstrong. And Kevin Durant is built like a praying mantis.

I remember seeing Karl Malone at a Sonics game when I was a kid. He was friggin' huge. But I don't think that was steroids - that was just good 'ol fashion country boy big.

So speaking of country big, what ever happened to Big Country Bryant Reeves?

After a nondescript NBA career, Reeves went on to start a Big Country BBQ chain across the south until being served with a cease and desist by the band Big Country.

Last I heard, he was a warlord in Mogadishu.

Giant dudes are plentiful in the NBA never thought Shaq was a PED user and the mans gigantic but with people like Howard or James the fact that their heads are sooo much smaller than their body mass is an obvious indicator.

Its not that its happening that is obvious its that its never seems to be reported that puzzles me?? I mean the press these days are like sharks to blood on any 'story' they can dig up.

As to Armstrong early in his career he was much more muscular than he was later in his career i believe he switched from chemicals that were more for bulk to chemicals that boost oxygen use and overall stamina.
