Paraguay: home to ex-Nazis and...hot babes?

I always thought of Paraguay (if and when I spared it any thoughts, that is) as a landlocked, rather benighted country roughly in the middle of South America that was hospitable to ex-Nazis (consider the dictator for years was General Alfredo Stroessner), and had little else of note.

Seems that may be up for reconsideration, given these recent shots of Paraguayan soccer fans from the World Cup:
