The concept is very simple; find a post with today's date, only from a different year, and re-post it here.
For example, today is January 20, 2009. So, I will find a post from January 20 (only from a different year) and re-post it here.
Be sure to include the name of the thread it was taken from and a link to the thread page it was taken from, so other people can get an idea as to "why" the post you picked was made.
(If you just "quote" the post directly from the thread, the little blue arrow by the poster's name will automatically link to the thread for you.)
Also, feel free to write a little sumpin', sumpin' about the post too. Say something funny, say something nice, say something commemorative; it doesn't matter!

...coolbeers wandered into a virgin thread and laid his posting seed. AFA had recently started " Premium Link Upgrade " thread, informing members that an interesting TV program would be airing that evening. Seeing this thread, coolbeers peeked inside to view it's contents. After reading AFA's post, coolbeers then gave us this little gem, which we can all re-live today...
