Old WWI English Soldiers POW Recordings

Cheerio.
I found this unique video.
It seems the Germans made over a thousand recordings of British soldier prisoners in WWI. Documenting the soldiers names and hometown.
Its really a goldmine for linguistic experts and fans.
I believe England/Britain has the most accents of any country and many of those accents are now extinct or have been blended a lot.
When I was an ESL English teacher I would sometimes do listening exercises showing different English/American accents. It was always a fun exercise.

Don't have to watch the whole thing but the actual recordings are pretty neat to listen to.
