From about 1990 till about 2000 , I used to go to things called raves were people would go and take drugs and dance for days , to dance music which was mostly underground artists but these artists used to out sell most of the top 40 charts yet most of the never got in because they never qualified as singles...........

Raves were massive here in Britain you could easily sell out 30000 venues for underground artists that no-one apart from ravers knew , then in the mid 90s it became commercial and started losing its appeal once the money grabbers realised what could be made it started going downhill and split up into all different dance genres and started getting shite , now everything sounds the same and they just re-do old songs from when I started going out

So Ive decided to make a thread just for old dance music and if you were into raves post your old videos and stuff , Ive found a few on youtube from places I used to go and have been laughing my head of at seeing old faces , out of there tits and having a good time............

The best times of my life were going to these things you could disappear for weeks , it was brilliant , loads of horny chicks full of E just wantin screwed

Surely Im not the only one that used to go to these :thumbsup:

Heres a few to start of........

When I was in high school I would go up to Toronto a couple times a year for these things. Bad Boy Bill, Richard Vission, Paul Oakenfold, Richie Hawtin were some of my favourite DJ's at the time. There is also a pretty big music festival held in Detroit every year, DEMF (Detriot Electronic Music Festival) that attracts about 50,000-80,000 people, although I'm not much into the electronic music scene anymore, but I still go for the dancing and a good time.
