Okay, so I just saw the first episode of "Charlie's Angels" (the 2011 Series).

"Angel with a Broken Wing" was on a channel called "E4" here in England at 8pm this evening. I watched it while having my evening meal and thought it was alright for a first episode. Sure, it could do with a few improvements here and there but that can all be worked out as the series goes along. Either way, it was nice to see something familiar being brought back to TV screens. After all, America produces loads of new TV shows every year and some seem like complete rubbish. At least we all know what "Charlie's Angels" should be like.

But then I thought "I wonder how long this show will last?". Some series fail straight away while others hold on for a couple of years before being axed.

A few moments ago (after booting up the internet), I checked out Wikipedia and found out that "Charlie's Angels" had already been taken off the air after eight episodes. How sad. It didn't even get a chance to improve itself during a second series.

But was this a surprise? I guess not. I mean, having seen tonight's ok episode I did wonder if it would get better or just stay "meh".

Why are modern day shows never given a chance to improve over in America? Is it because producers don't want to lose anymore money making stuff that people don't want to watch? Probably.

After seeing tonight's episode, there's only one thing that bothers me. I don't fancy Annie Ilonzeh. That's where it fails I think (apart from any weak storylines that the critics point out). "Charlie's Angels" needs three sexy women to carry the show all the way through. And what did they do in episode one? They ****** off Nadine Velazquez's character (Gloria). Why? She was hot! In reality, Nadine only signed on for one episode so that's why we lost her. :(

I would've kept her and ****** off Annie Ilonzeh instead. "Charlie's Angels" requires sex appeal and instead of having three sexy Angels, they only had two - the biggest mistake you could make in my opinion.

What's worse is that in episode eight (which was never completed and never aired), we were gonna see two of the Angels share a lesbian kiss. None other than Rachael Taylor and Minka Kelly. Yep, the hot ones!

All that will have to be imagined in my head now. :(

Right, I've said what I wanted to say. It's a pity it failed straight away. The same happened to the recreation of "Knight Rider" (which lasted ********* episodes and one TV movie) but I didn't really care about that.

"Charlie's Angels" died after seven episodes. It deserved so much better. :******: Perhaps one day they'll nail it and we'll hear Charlie once again saying his famous line - "Good morning Angels!".
