**official freeones fantasy hockey league**

well, yahoo sports has begun registration for fantasy hockey. i am loving the baseball league we are running, minus the lack of commitment, so i have decided to carry on the tradition by starting a fantasy hockey league.

due to the lack of commitment in the baseball one, i will only give the passsword and league ID to members that PM me and ask. I think that this way, they will show some commitment and hopefully remain in the league for the duration of the season.

i believe i set the league to 16 teams. it is a head to head type play so managers will put their teams against one another in 12 stat categories.
(Goals, Assists, Points, Plus/Minus, PIM, Short Handed Points, Game Winning Goals.)
(Goalie Wins, Goals Against Average, Save Percentage, Shutouts)

i have a tentative live online draft date of sept 2nd at 1pm eastern time.

well, i will wait for the PM's to flow in, please only serious hockey fans respond, because there is nothing worse the playing against a manager that dosent update his team.

i will be on this 100% and any manager that remains off for a long period without warning will be stripped to the bone of their players.

Sorry Juballs, I thought about it but I just don't have the drive to get into a hockey leage and maintain a team this year. (plus I have been out of hockey long enough I wouldn't know what I was doing anymore) I always hated the leagues where people don't maintain their teams also.

come on people. this league is on the verge of being shut down! if you remotely like hockey, take 5 minutes a day, and have a fantasy team in the freeones league!

alright... your all gonna make me do something i didnt want to do, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
1st step, im posting the league ID and password on this site in this thread due to lack of teams already.
if that dosent work after 4-5 days, i will open the league up to the public. i really wanted to keep this open to only freeones members, and members who would update their teams on a daily basis. hopefully we can...
