There are no actual games that require this. No Crysis, right now.

But this is just insane. DO YOU KNOW HOW FUTURE-PROOFED YOU WOULD BE?!
... assuming you could front the thousands of dollars probably.

I recently went with the 4070, I couldn't justify the 4080 given what I play & need. I have the PS5 for games, so I needed it for graphics software.
I'm not the target for the 5090, but it is funny seeing how much they put into it.

But this is just insane. DO YOU KNOW HOW FUTURE-PROOFED YOU WOULD BE?!

The sad thing is, there will be a game with a few years which will require this for max settings.

Plus, being PCIe 5.0, most people will either have to upgrade their Mobo or just wait until they get a new computer that has it.

I think that, perhaps.. we are headed into a future where dlss becomes the norm and games simply arrive unplayable at ultra high even with the latest HW.

The trend seems to be towards "Blurry is fine. Detail is undesirable" in the last decade. Raytracing on recommended is still out of touch to most pc owners, methinks.
