I usually do randoms but think this time, I may pick.

^^ I rarely play, but when I do I always "quick pick"...

If you do decide to pick your own, you may want to pick larger numbers. This of course won't increase your chances of winning, but it will decrease your chance of having to share the pot due to the clustering effect of people choosing calender dates for their numbers.
