WTF is up with Toronto? They're winning quite a bit recently...
Yeah they are probably going to suck untill the end of the season ( and I hope they do to get a good draft choice ). I think this season is over for me , see you at the draft.

If it wasn't for the shitty first half of the season Carolina would be in the playoffs. Glad to see that they look like they'll be good next year.

i knew 2 weeks ago we weren't making the playoffs. now i'm just wondering who's gonna be new to the team next year
i'm sick of saying "oh well. maybe next year will be better". we've gotten new players, owners and coaches. they need to stop sucking and contend again already.
The Pittsburgh/Boston game was pretty anti-climactic

'Yotes pull off another win against Florida. The Panthers are dissapointing. Vokoun stops 40+ shots a night and is in the top five best goalies in the world, and yet Florida doesn't try to back him up with any offence or defence. Perfect proof that you need more than just good goaltending to get anywhere.
The Bruins said they were not out for revenge, yet Thornton and Cooke go at it less than 2 minutes in and Thornton gets an additional 10
If I was Lawton for next season I would Let go those Unrestricted free agents
Alex Tanguay ( awful season )
Brandon Bochenski ( he sometimes plays well but at 27 he had his chances )
Mark Parrish ( just not good enough )
David Hale ( not a very good d-man )
Antero Nittymaki ( he is a good backup and I would like to keep him in TB but he is likely going to have a substantial raise in pay )
Unrestricted free agents I would keep
Stephane Veilleux ( good defensively )
Zenon Konopka ( we need at least one good enforcer and he is a popular player )
Kurtis Foster ( great on the PP )
Mike Lundin ( Biggest surprise this season for me , he has played great )
Lawton should re-sign all his restricted free agents ( Steve Downie , Nate Thompson , Teddy Purcell , Paul Ranger and Paul Szczechura )
He should try to make a trade for a good goalie ( I would really like to have Minnesota Wild backup Josh Harding in Tampa )
Harding is a good goalie. If only we kept Gaborik we'd've been a contender.
Red Wings in the 8th spot playoff wise, 7-2-1 in the last 10 games. Thanks to Franzen and Holmstrom for surging!

History tells allot, but it is a new season, I agree. The Sharks have not made it to the show and have underperformed lately in the playoffs. Seeing is Believin'!
