NFL Problems and scam-dishonesty

The NFL has big problems with the chronic traumatic encepathology (CTE). A woman doctor has around 80 brains from football players and all but one had cte.

The NFL is hiding the problem like the tobacco companies did and will pay for that fact eventually.
F U to the NFL.

believe this is the concussions issue being delt with- maybe do as they might and stop all kickoffs and start at the 25 or 30 yard line

The players are also to blame.

Really, are all those old players going to try and tell me they never had any idea that willingly bashing their heads into things hard hundreds if not countless thousands of times might lead to bad long term consequences, even if nobody, the teams, players, coaches might have known the ultra fine nuances of it? Just by common sense they knew they were taking big risk and took them.

At some point it just needs to be excepted as part of the game's risk and adults with informed consent should do it if they want instead of watering down football into something it's not with still trying to slap the name football on it.

Just another giant cash grab devised by greedy lawyers and their wretched kind.

NFL players have known the risks from day one.

I once saw an interview in the 80's with Bruce Smith talking about how he had chosen to shorten his lifespan to play football for monetary gain.

Its a harsh world and in the end we all meet our humanity weather you go hard and enjoy your time or you live in a padded bunker and hide from everything or everyone.

As to the big smoking debacle if you smoked cigarettes and didn't think you were poisoning yourself then shame on you.

According to frontline a doctor has 80 plus brains from football people and all but one had evidence of CTE. It can be found in slides of the brain tissue after death of course. She even found cte in a high school football player. this needs study but it looks bad for the NFL. Imagine the odds of almost all having cte. Even the guys on on line of scrimmage are not safe from it. State Disability Insurance will pay these people for their work injuries and the taxpayers will pay for it. Law suits will mount and the settlement was rejected recently by a court as not being enough money. The NFL may have to end their business ( and end of football in general) and it would have big repercussions as colleges and even high schools make big money on football. The ESPN contract with the NFL only for their games is worth 1 billion dollars every year. I hope the rams win the superbowl in the last year of the NFL-- when ever it comes about

If there's money being made it isn't going anywhere. It's just foolish to even state that. The lawyers in this world will screw us all in the end the most non productive most destructive segment of our world.

BCT

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
They knew what they were getting into. Those players chose the money and fame now live with it.

Yeah, I also don't think this multi-billion dollar industry is going anywhere anytime soon. I am concerned about 50 new rules the leauge will probably make up, trying to protect players from head injuries, changing the game into something much more different from what it is now in the process.

I you don't like the risks don't play football. Whining after the fact is just bitter old person syndrome.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
There is not another organization in America that embodies the Communist spirit more than the NFL.
