New Photos of K.S. Mohamed Released - Is It "Problematic" to "Humanize" People?

By now, most of you have seen the new pic (pics?) of Khalid Sheikh Mohamed (sheikh it, baby), who's at Gitmo.

"...Jarret Brachman, former research director at the Combating Terrorism Center of the West Point US Military Academy...said the images - which emerge on the eve of the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks - could inspire extremists.

"What's problematic for me is it really humanises the guy," Mr Brachman told AP news agency."

I don't get this. Did anyone protest the release of that OTHER, now-infamous pic of him looking like a total slob, likely wife-beater? Surely slobs and wife-beaters are people, too. America's got plenty of them (as does every country). But, apparently, this new pic is a problem because it makes him seem human? How so? Simply because he looks somewhat more well-*******?

Technically, he is human, not an actual *******. But I'm fine if he gets locked up for the rest of his pathetic life.
