The owners Manwin / Mindgeek do not remaster or repair any of the films there. Many don't work and it's easier just to take them down. The photo galleries go away for other reasons. Manwin / Mindgeek doesn't want to continue to pay out royalties to the photographers to whose work they just delisted.
Brazzers takes a lot of scenes and combines them into one movie, they delete the individual scenes from their site, like anything pornstar punishment.
Pornstar Punishment not only got Brazzers in trouble but the owners Manwin / Mindgeek themselves. Visa and Mastercard did pull their funding from all of their sites until all of those scenes were taken down. Visa and Mastercard objected to the abuse depicted of the female costars in those films. Mainly the way James Deen, Nacho Vidal, Markus Dupree and Bruce Venture were choking, slapping, hard nipple twisting, hair pulling, poking, grabbing, elbowing them in the face and ribs, punching their female costars in those scenes in the head. Thankfully not punching them in the face. One scene even had Deen kicking a female costar while she was down on the floor then purposely stomping on her hands. It led to many issues there. Mindgeek without funding from the two major credit cards not only in the United States but worldwide delisted the
Pornstar Punishment scenes. They had too. Otherwise, they would be dead in the water without any major credit card companies supporting them.
They also do what Batmaxo says, "they combine many scenes into one movie." -- James Deen's total scenes there at Brazzers went from 412 scenes down to just 88. They've since added fourteen scenes. Last time I looked he had 102 scenes listed. Many of those eighty-eight scenes were re-edited
Pornstar Punishment scenes taking all the abusive parts out of them. Then they rename the scene. When was the last time James Deen worked there at Brazzers? About eight or nine years ago, in 2012 or 2013.
It also led to issues with James Deen in his personal life. He broke up with Stoya as a result of many abuse allegations with her. Many other female pornstars came out against Deen too. He was pretty much ostracized with many studios. For example, John Stagliano at Evil Angel refused to work with him. James Deen as a result started up his own website. Deen later did apologize for his actions and has slowly started to work once again at other places.
