I hate Fight Club. I hate every film by that overrated ad director Fincher. What a fucking waste of time!

Matrix wasn't highly original when you've seen Welt am Draht. But decent enough to get my vote.

Matrix of course, it was revolution in action sci-fi genre. Wire-fu, bullet time, completely new things that everyone started to copy. Fight club is good movie, but it did not bring anything new.

fight club, because it makes sense, and wasn't written by a pair of bawbags who are more interested in special camera tricks than in making a cohesive movie that MAKES SENSE.

I can't stand The Matrix, so Fight Club wins by default and it just so happens that I like the movie anyway. So it's win-win.

Not even close. The Matrix is light years ahead..."Welt am Draht" was mentioned but The Matrix succeeds in philosophical contradictions and propositions where "Welt..." fell short IMO.
