Because the whatchamacallit is not connected to the thingamajig.
He wants to know why the A/C in his car won't blow cold air.
Most likely it's a low refrigerant charge. You have a leak in you Condenser or Evaporator core, is my guess. If you have manifold gages you can check to see the level of charge. You can try a R-134a charge kit from any auto parts store, but I doubt it will work, you need an exact level and PSI of refrigerant to function properly. Take it to a shop and swallow the bill. Unless you have a vacuum pump a 609 and manifold gages all you'll do is overcharge and kill your A/C pump.
