As mentioned in the initial Miss FreeOnes 2014 announcement, the voting platform for this year's contest has changed! In fact, it's had a pretty drastic change so make sure you continue reading to find out exactly what changed and how it'll affect you this year!
Now that I actually have the 2014 voting system on our test server, it's time to let you all know how it works! Why? Because it's changed drastically! As with the previous years, you'll still only get so many votes per round. They'll also still refresh at midnight so you'll have all your votes again on the new day. However, that's where the similarities end and the changes begin! Read below to find out all about the new voting platform!
Voting will be done on the model's FreeOnes Babe Section
In the previous Miss FreeOnes competitions, in order to vote you'd go to your favorite model's biography page on the Miss FreeOnes contest site. However, for 2014 we're changing it up so you'll be voting directly from the model's FreeOnes section as you can see from the above screenshot!
Don't worry, the Miss FreeOnes site isn't completely obsolete. Just like last year you'll be able to see who's entered in each category! All you'll have to do is click on a model's image and you'll go to her babe section! And of course the Miss Freeones contest site will have the top 15 for rounds 1 and 2 just like previous years.
Hopefully we'll have the new Miss FreeOnes 2014 site ready in a week or 2 for the world to see!
You can only vote for each model 1 time, no matter how many categories they enter
This has to be the most radical change to the whole entire system for 2014. Before you get yourself all twisted in knots about this change and start ranting about how you'll never be able to choose or how it's not fair...let me explain WHY we're doing it this way.
Over the past 3 years that we've had categories in Miss FreeOnes, I've noticed a little trend. If a model is in the top 15 in the Miss FreeOnes category and she's in several other categories as well, she'll be in the exact same place in those categories. Why? Because people just vote for a babe in all her categories regardless if she's the best model for that category or not. Hey, it's the voter's favorite after all!
While this isn't a bad thing, it does make for a rather boring contest which results in complaints about the top list never moving or being the same across all the categories. So, we're changing that by only allowing each voter to vote for a model 1x per day. Yes, this means each person will have to possibly THINK about which category he wants to support his favorite model in. And, this may possibly mean that models who actually care about the traffic, recognition, and want part of that $30,000 prize money (and possibly some REALLY nifty other prizes) will have to direct their fans in which category to support them in!
I personally think that this is going to make for a much more interesting contest.
However, I know that even with that explanation, there's going to be those of you that absolutely HATE this change. That's OK. If you don't like it, simply don't play! It's that easy! Now, moving on to the next subject...

- 20 votes for round 1
- 10 votes for round 2
- 7 votes for round 3
What happens when you spend all your votes?
When you vote for a model successfully, you'll see a big green check box where you currently see the categories in the screen shot above. If you refresh the page, the categories will be greyed. Once you exhaust all of your votes for the day, a timer will replace the voting buttons showing you the time until your votes are refreshed!
When do your votes get refreshed?
At midnight EST.
What about the Best OCSM category?
As with previous years, only logged in FreeOnes members can vote. What's more, this year if an anonymous voter is on a babe section of an OCSM, they won't even see she's entered in that category unless he/she logs in! So random people coming across the babe sections of an OCSM is less likely to participate in this category.
Will votes be reset every round or accumulate?
To keep it fair, it'll be reset every round and every contestant will start at 0 votes at the beginning of the round.
